MacAfee VSE scan might quarantine FTEipaddplugin.exe

McAfee VSE scan is incorrectly quarantining "FTEipaddplugin. exe"as a trojan with DAT version 9853 /9854/9855. This was observed on multiple Experion releases with the mentioned DAT version.

Solution

Honeywell worked with McAfee Lab, McAfee confirmed that the two Experion binaries were falsely detected on the previous version of the DAT files.

McAfee Lab confirmed these files are clean/safe and will not be detected with the newest DATs.

HPS Technical support has confirmed in our lab that the latest DAT no longer report the Experion binaries as thread。
